A street circuit combining a narrow section beside the old city with exceptionally long, fast waterfront straights.
History
The circuit was introduced in 2016 for the European Grand Prix. Hermann Tilke designed its route through central Baku and alongside the historic city walls. It subsequently became the venue for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
