About
A tight, twisting circuit with closely linked corners and relatively few long straights.
History
The Hungaroring was constructed in approximately eight months and opened in 1986. It hosted the first Hungarian Grand Prix on 10 August that year. Alterations in 2003, including changes to the first corner and later sections, established the current 4.381 km configuration.
