About
An undulating road course best known for the Corkscrew, a steep downhill left-right sequence.
History
Laguna Seca opened in 1957 on former Fort Ord land as a successor to racing at Pebble Beach. A substantial expansion in 1988 established the current 2.238-mile circuit. Alex Zanardi's celebrated Corkscrew pass occurred in 1996, and the circuit was resurfaced in 2023.
