About

A narrow street circuit featuring a harbour section, tunnel and exceptionally slow hairpin, with barriers close to the racing surface.

History

Antony Noghès organised the first Monaco Grand Prix in 1929. William Grover-Williams won that inaugural race in a Bugatti. Monaco joined the Formula One World Championship's first season in 1950 and remains one of its most recognisable venues.
