A long, fast road course through rolling countryside, with substantial elevation changes and 14 corners.
History
Clif Tufte developed Road America after racing on local public roads became impractical. The permanent circuit opened in September 1955. Its 4.048-mile layout has remained substantially unchanged and has hosted major American sports-car and open-wheel championships.
