A fast, mountainous circuit in the Ardennes, known for Eau Rouge, Raidillon and rapidly changing weather.
History
The original circuit opened in 1921 using public roads connecting Francorchamps, Malmedy and Stavelot. A substantially shorter circuit opened in 1979, retaining sections of the historic route. Subsequent revisions produced the current 7.004 km Grand Prix layout.
